Background of Emile van den Bergh

Emile was born on 14 December 1963. He went to Frikke Meyer Primary School, Vanderbijlpark and matriculated in 1981 at Vanderbijlpark High School. He completed his compulsory Military service in the department of Correctional Services until his resignation from the Department on 31 December 1987, where after he immediately joined Southern Life. Emile obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® status during 1998. He also completed his Advanced Post Graduate diploma during 2008. His chosen specialised subjects were Risk Planning and Estate Planning.

Emile is married to Pikkie and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Anzel and Franzel.
